We got an email from our wedding photographer, Michael Blanchard informing us that his hard drive crashed and he lost all of our wedding photos. We now are without any professional photographs of our special day. Please send us any pictures you may have taken. Thank you.
We found a Sony camera battery on the floor after the wedding. It’s at our house. Let us know if it’s yours and we can give it to you or mail it, if necessary.
A big thanks to Eric Kho who purchased us a paid Flickr account to put our wedding photos. Thanks to those of you who have been sending us pictures! We are getting the pictures from the disposables put on CDs, so we expect a TON more.
Our photo album with the pictures so far is here:
Thank you to everyone who came to our wedding. We had a lovely time. Thank you especially to our families, the bridal party, to Ariel for the beautiful flowers, to everyone who helped set up the tables, and to Velvet Elvis.
We will create an online photo album of all the photos soon. Thank you to everyone who has been sending us pictures so far. There have been some real gems! We’re going to end up with thousands of photos, plus the professional ones.
Thank you again, everyone. We had an amazing time and we hope you did, too.
August 25th was the wedding shower and bachelorette party. My mom and sister came out from California!
We had the shower in one of the function rooms at Donahue’s in Watertown. We had our own private bar and there was so much food. Mmmm…toasted ravioli and baked ziti!!!
That’s me with my sister and my mom. I had to wear silly stuff. :-)
We played a few silly bridal shower games which were quite fun.
We played Jeopardy, organized by Sarah, Matt’s sister and one of the bridesmaids.
Teams made wedding gowns out of toilet paper!
Afterwards we went to Made By Me and painted pottery. It was a fun place for a bachelorette party. We brought our own wine, cheese, and cookies.
Thank you to everybody who made it out to the shower and bachelorette party. I had so much fun. And the pottery pieces came out great. :-)
The wedding is less than two weeks away!!!!!!!!!!!
Publick House held the rooms until 8/20 and unfortunately, it is now booked solid. :-( Here are some alternatives:
Sturbridge Comfort Inn
Sturbridge Host Hotel
Sturbridge Hampton Inn
Copper Lantern Motor Lodge **no frills, but apparently it’s very affordable, about $50-$70 a night. It’s also a lot closer to the Salem Cross Inn than the places in Sturbridge.
Yankee Cricket Bed & Breakfast — this place is supposed to be a lovely B&B, but obviously pricier than the other places on this list — for more B&Bs click here!
Sturbridge Country Inn
Super 8 Motel
Holiday Inn Express Sturbridge
America’s Best Value Inn
Sturbridge Heritage Motel
Don’t forget, The Publick House is only holding the rooms until August 20, so time is running low if you’d like to get a room in the Munroe-Mahoney block! To make reservations, call 508-347-3313.
Click here to view other lodging options. There are many places to stay in Sturbridge, from motels to cute bed and breakfasts.
I didn’t realize so much assembly would be required for the invitations!
We did them in our non-air conditoned living room in the 95 degree weather!
Trying to hydrate and address some invitations!
Anyway, it was kind of fun addressing them after all! We had a whole assembly line in the living room.
And oh yeah, didja notice that Matt’s catfish-like beard is gone?
Now THAT’S something to celebrate!
The post-wedding banquet will be on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 6:30 PM at Ton Kiang! Stay tuned for more info.
